Baby shower card - Princess Leia

Baby shower card for their little Princess.

This is for a couple who love Star Wars and when they found out they were having a little girl they, of course, decided to name their little bundle...Leia.

I put Leia on an action wobble.

Shake it baby.
Since this card was for a group to sign they needed lots of space to write their good wishes. When I cut the inside I folded it so that it did not cut the bottom of the paper. I used small round Velcro tabs to hold it up
I found a couple cute saying to put inside.
Because the card was heavy it wouldn't stand up with out sliding open flat so I added another saying on the inside flap so it wasn't just an empty tab sticking out the bottom of the card. The velcro tabs worked out great in holding the card up right.

Christmas and the gym.

I work out with a great bunch of ladies and we have a wonderful trainer. On Pinterest I found a little bag that had a nail file and nail polish with a tag that said "For your Mistle Toes". This is my take on that idea.

I picked up fuzzy socks, nail polish, foot scrubber, foam toe things, foot cream and them found these wine glasses at The Dollar Tree that said " get your jingle on". All of the girls like wine so it did double duty for holding the goodies and holding their wine. :-)
My tag..
I also made them beaded snowflakes.

For our trainer we got him a couple gift cards so I made this card to put them in.I used the Frozen Cricut cartridge and cut him at 8. The trees are Tim Holtz dies.
Here is a close up so you can see the sparkley paper I used for the snow and the trees. You cannot really tell but for Olaf I used a fuzzy white paper.
Side view...I used the same patterened paper I used on the front of the card to make a pocket to put the gift cards in.

Magic Box - Suitcase shape

A friend wanted to surprise her husband on his 40th with a trip to San Francisco. She had a friend get him to the airport and se was standing there with suitcases and this box.

San Francisco Suitcase
This has all of their favorite places to visit while there.

I found this map of San Francisco online and printed it out on cardstock. I folded it up and then crumpled it up so it looked well used.

Another friend's daughter was graduating from college. She wanted to surprise her with a trip to New York and have a gift card in it.

Magic Box - Christmas sleigh

I have been wanting to try a magic box or exploding box. The girls I work out with wanted to give our trainer a gift card so I made a box to put it in.

Outside
Inside.
The three empty flaps is where we all signed our Merry Merry's.

I cut the deer and sleigh from Create-a-Critter. I made two cuts and then put them together so they would stand. For the sleigh I added a piece in the back to spread it so it would hold the gift card. I think for my first attempt turned out pretty good.

Happy crafting my friends!!!
